This holiday season, Gallery invites audiences to celebrate architecture with the premiere of Gallery Talks, a new original podcast series that expands Gallery’s editorial universe through in-depth conversations and critical reflection.
Premiering on December 23, Gallery Talks marks the debut of a new audio format within Gallery Originals, conceived to deepen architectural discourse and offer a more intimate connection with the voices shaping contemporary architecture.
The first season is entirely dedicated to the life and work of Álvaro Siza Vieira, one of the most influential architects of our time. Across six episodes, released weekly, the series explores Siza’s trajectory, creative process, intellectual legacy, and the cultural and human dimensions that define his work.
The podcast is hosted by Martha Thorne, whose curatorial sensitivity and deep engagement with architectural culture guide each conversation, offering listeners a thoughtful and nuanced perspective on Siza’s works.
Episodes will be released weekly on Gallery’s official channels: Gallery Originals, YouTube, and Gallery’s Spotify profile, reinforcing the platform’s commitment to making architectural thought accessible to a global audience.
According to Augusto Custodio, CEO of Gallery, the podcast format allows the platform to go further than traditional editorial narratives:
“Gallery Talks allows us to slow down and listen more carefully. It creates the space to deepen the discussion around an architect’s work, revealing layers that are often lost in more immediate formats. At the same time, it brings our community closer to the architect’s thinking, process, and worldview, strengthening the relationship between our audience and the ideas behind the architecture.”
The series is presented in partnership with Otiima, whose support strengthens the dialogue between architecture, industry, and innovation, and helps bring these conversations to a global audience.
With Gallery Talks, Gallery opens a new chapter in its content ecosystem, one that privileges dialogue, reflection, and proximity, offering audiences a meaningful way to engage with architecture during the holiday season and beyond.
