Architects Brazil, a Gallery original. Five architectural practices, a private dinner, and the preview of the new season at Palácio Tangará.
On May 28, the Palácio Tangará hosts the premiere of Architects | Brazil Season, the new chapter of the documentary series produced by Gallery. The exclusive session brings together architects, institutional partners, and reference brands in design for a night dedicated to contemporary Brazilian architecture, at one of São Paulo's most emblematic addresses.
The Architects series was born of the conviction that architecture is, above all, a form of thought about time. Each episode approaches an architect through their work, their references, and the particular way in which each one translates the world into space. The Brazil Season extends these stories into the national territory and offers viewers a sensitive portrait of the generation that has been shaping the country's built landscape.
The Brazil Season gives continuity to this trajectory and gathers five of the most relevant architecture practices in the country, in episodes that traverse their paths, their work, and their own ways of thinking the project. The season features Arthur Casas, Fernanda Marques, Jacobsen Arquitetura, Studio MK27, and Tetro Arquitetura, names that represent the maturity of contemporary Brazilian architecture.

The Gallery Exclusive Sessions are private screenings, conceived to take place in settings where architecture is part of the experience, before a restricted audience of architects, clients, and invited brands. Dell Anno signs the night as master sponsor, alongside Miele, Deca, The Led, and BMW. The presence of these brands reaffirms a conviction that has guided Gallery from the beginning, the conviction that the culture surrounding architecture is built at the encounter between those who design and those who produce with excellence. Each of them, in its own field, represents a standard of reference that dialogues naturally with the universe of the architects portrayed in the season.
Hosting the premiere at the Palácio Tangará carries a meaning of its own. Set within Parque Burle Marx, the hotel condenses, in its architecture and in its landscape design, some of the richest traditions of Brazilian design. It is in this encounter between nature, memory, and contemporaneity that Gallery proposes to open the season, in a session conceived to be intimate, curated, and purposeful.
The evening unfolds in two movements. The first, a cocktail in the gardens of the Palácio Tangará, the moment in which guests gather amid the preserved Atlantic Forest of Parque Burle Marx. The second, a private dinner around the five architects of the series, their clients and partners, and the brands that sustain the night.
Architects premiered in Portugal, in its first season, with names that helped define what we understand today as contemporary Portuguese architecture. Álvaro Siza Vieira, Manuel Aires Mateus, and Carlos Castanheira were among the architects portrayed, in episodes that traversed studios, projects, and the personal histories of each one. The season consolidated the vocation of the series to bring the viewer closer to the thinking behind the project.
The series is a Gallery original production, directed by Augusto Custodio, with Gabriel Alves as content director. The duo has signed the project since the conception of the first season and is responsible for the curation, the language, and the narrative construction that lend unity to the series across its different chapters.
"There is a great deal of architecture being published, but little biography. Projects circulate detached from the lives that imagined them, as if a work could exist before the one who conceived it. Architects moves in the opposite direction. Each episode is a passage through those stories, however brief," says Augusto Custodio. It was from one of those passages, in the first season, that the documentary Siza was born, screened at more than 40 international film and architecture festivals.
The series will premiere in September 2026 on Gallery, reaching a global audience of more than 390,000 subscribers, of which approximately 70,000 are in Brazil. The night at the Palácio Tangará is the moment that opens this journey.
